It seems to be the new trend amongst the celebrities these days is to have a small wedding ceremony with really close family and friends in attendance, and then later throw a grand reception for all their other friends, relatives, associates and colleagues. Television actors Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla have also opted this route. They will be holding a one-day wedding ceremony in Shimla on the 21st of June. Later in the month, they will throw a grand reception party, where everyone they know will be invited.
The Countdown Begins
The celebrations for the upcoming started with the crew members of Shakti, the show in which Rubina plays the lead role, threw her a surprise party and made her wear a bride to be sash. However, what really set the mood for the wedding was the mehndi ceremony held in Delhi on the 20th of June, just a day before the wedding in Shimla.
Mehndi Design
It goes without saying that the most famous mehndi artist was called in to put the bridal mehndi on Rubina. Unlike most of the bride who choose to get mehndi put on the entire length of their arms and knee high on the feet, Rubina got a simple yet elegant mehndi design put on her hands and feet. Even though there was nothing grand about the mehndi, the bridal mehndi designer made sure that the mehndi looked graceful and pretty even from a distance.
Mehndi Ceremony Dress
Rubina’s mehndi picture with her mom is going viral on the social media. In the picture, she is seen wearing a pink floral sarong, with a cute jacket. The bridal glow can be seen on Rubina’s face. With this latest Indian wedding dress, she may be starting an all-new trend of the bride’s opting for more practical and comfortable outfits for their wedding ceremonies rather than the heavy traditional outfits.
Mehndi Hair And Accessories
To give her otherwise outfit an Indian touch, Rubina opted for traditional jhumkas, which made her look very pretty and adorable. As for her hairstyle, she tied her locks for a hassle-free look.
In the meanwhile, the preparations at the wedding reception venues are in full swing and the couple along with their families head out for Shimla the very next day, where the couple will tie the knot as per both Punjabi as well as Himachali customs.
